Thomas Bligh is Managing Director at Bligh Consulting LLC; a firm focused on guiding a variety of industrial companies (from start-ups to Fortune 500s) to the top of their respective industries via the application of Lean Management Principles and customer-centric business plans. Prior to consulting; Mr. Bligh was a Vice President of Strategy & Business Development with Genie Industries; a division of Terex Corporation; which provides the most advanced lifting equipment in the industry. During his tenure; the company grew from $324 million in 1997 to $2.3 billion in 2008. He was selected to spearhead development of multiple innovation programs to improve relationships with new and existing customers for $2.3 Billion division of the $9.6 Billion global construction manufacturer. From 2005-2007; he was also part of 3-member executive team charged with designing and overseeing the efficient implementation of The Terex Business System; a complete overhaul of the company’s Corporate Global Management System. He has over 40 years of C-level experience and has previous experience with DeltaPoint; Bioscan; Alcon Laboratories; CooperVision-Cilco; American Hydron; PepsiCo; The Forum Corporation; and Xerox. He spent four years as President & CEO of a Northwest start-up and has been nominated three times in Seattle for Entrepreneur of the Year.
